Srinagar, Dec 11 (KNO): Renowned Indian playback singer Jubin Nautiyal, during his visit to the picturesque Gulmarg, praised Kashmir’s unparalleled beauty and vibrant atmosphere. He expressed optimism about the region’s artistic potential, saying, “Kashmir's talent is going to flourish like a Kohinoor.” Speaking to reporters in Gulmarg, Nautiyal, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), described the love and warmth of Kashmiris as unmatched. While acknowledging Kashmir as an iconic tourist destination, he expressed confidence that its charm and appeal would continue to grow in the years to come. Accompanied by his family, Nautiyal shared his joy at experiencing live snowfall, calling it a magical and fortunate moment. “I consider myself lucky to witness snowfall in Gulmarg. Although I’ve been to Kashmir before, this visit is purely for leisure with my family,” he said, adding that his earlier trips were mostly for professional commitments. Nautiyal lauded the artistic talent emerging from the Valley, emphasizing its bright future. “Kashmir’s talent is destined to flourish. Even in Mumbai, we frequently hear about the exceptional creativity from this region. In today’s digital age, talent cannot remain hidden—it shines and thrives,” he remarked. “Everything from Kashmir is like a diamond, a Kohinoor.” The singer also expressed his desire to explore Kashmiri music more deeply. “I wish to learn Kashmiri music and perform it on stage, showcasing its richness to a wider audience and contributing to its growth,” he said—(KNO)
